STAR WARS: GALACTIC RACER REVIEW ROUNDUP

Star Wars: Galactic Racer

The reviews are in before Star Wars: Galactic Racer hits stores on Tuesday, October 6. Overall, if you’ve been waiting for a new Star Wars racer (or a Burnout-style arcade comeback), things are looking really good. Larger outlets are calling out blistering speed, a runs-based / roguelite campaign, and crash-happy racing from Fuse Games — with Metacritic sitting around an 88 across dozens of reviews, putting it among the best-rated Star Wars games ever. A few critics note repetitive late-campaign planets, thin on-foot bits, and no split-screen, but the consensus is that the racing itself is a standout.

POKEMON SWORD AND SHIELD REVIEW ROUNDUP

The reviews are in before Pokemon Sword and Shield hits stores this Friday. Overall, if you're a huge Pokemon fan, things are looking pretty good. Larger outlets are claiming that while this installment of the Pokemon franchise doesn't innovate as much as they hoped it would, it is still a lot of fun and vastly expands our options for future Pokemon titles. IMPRESSIONS OF THE MANDALORIAN AND ITS ARTWORK (SPOILERS)

The first episode of The Mandalorian has been out for around 24 hours now and we have to say it was amazing! Not only does it perfectly capture why a lot of people fell in love with Star Wars in the first place, but it takes certain story line elements of the franchise in great new directions. Yes, (in typical Star Wars fashion) there were a couple of awkward moments, but overall this new series BLOWS The Last Jedi out of the water and sets a new standard for what all future Star Wars movies and series should aspire to be. Also, If you saw the end credits artwork and thought "I need that," then search no more. Below is a link to where you can download them all: https://imgur.com/a/NCpEVv6   Image credit to Disney.
