GTA 6's marketing just hit one of the biggest stages in sports: El Clásico. Its Miami fast-food bags are also reselling for more than the Collector's Edition. Microsoft gives Arkane Lyon more time, Shenmue 3: Enhanced Edition slips to 2027, and Konami explains why its Silent Hill studios didn't know what the others were making. Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy Resonance hit big Steam peaks, and there's plenty more. Here's the Lanbrew gaming roundup for October 26, 2026.

GTA 6 takes over El Clásico's pitchside boards, and its Miami fast-food bags are reselling for $500

Rockstar put GTA 6 in front of one of the biggest TV audiences in club football. During Sunday's Real Madrid vs. Barcelona match at Spotify Camp Nou, the rotating LED boards around the pitch flashed the Grand Theft Auto VI logo with a simple "Coming November 19" message several times during the broadcast. Fans spotted the boards on international streams, and clips spread fast after the final whistle. Beebom notes the match reportedly drew around 650 million viewers. TalkEsport says the placement was limited to the stadium boards, with no shirt deal or TV spot, and Rockstar hasn't commented.

It's the latest sports-led move in GTA 6's final-month push, which already includes the Miami Heat's "A Night in Vice City" game on November 18 and real-life Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell stands at the Kaseya Center. That Miami merch is now a resale item: Dexerto found a Burger Shot promotional bag that sold on eBay on October 25 for $501, which is $100 more than the game's $400 Collector's Edition. Cups are listed for $91 to $200, and an empty fries packet for $55. GTA 6 launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

"We have extended the consultation period by one additional month as we explore options, including finding a partner to support the studio through the development work still ahead," a Microsoft representative told PC Gamer. That remaining work is Marvel's Blade, announced back in 2023. Reports on how close it is to done still conflict: a union representative told Le Monde it was nearing completion, while PC Gamer's sources say it still has years to go.

Konami kept its Silent Hill studios in the dark about each other's games, on purpose

Silent Hill Townfall director Jon McKellan says his team at Screen Burn found out about Konami's other Silent Hill projects "when everyone else did, when they announced them." Speaking at MCM London Comic Con, he explained that series producer Motoi Okamoto wanted to keep the games from influencing each other. Okamoto's team reviewed every project, and if one drifted too close to another, it would quietly suggest a course correction without saying what the other game was doing.

McKellan says that only happened once for Townfall, over an enemy design, and that the team got to see Silent Hill f only a couple of months before it launched. "We were kind of kept in the dark, but in a good way," he told the panel, VGC reports. "It wasn't like a Marvel phase."

Onimusha: Way of the Sword's director says the player data backs up its difficulty

The Onimusha demo split players over whether it was too easy. Now game director Satoru Nihei says Capcom got the challenge right. "There are points where [players] do stumble, they do die, they do get defeated," he told PC Gamer, "but they're able to overcome that and progress." Nihei says the game was never meant to be as hard as Sekiro or Nioh, and that Capcom's play data shows players are progressing "close to what we set out to achieve," Eurogamer reports. Way of the Sword has already sold over a million copies.

IMPRESSIONS OF THE MANDALORIAN AND ITS ARTWORK (SPOILERS)

The first episode of The Mandalorian has been out for around 24 hours now and we have to say it was amazing! Not only does it perfectly capture why a lot of people fell in love with Star Wars in the first place, but it takes certain story line elements of the franchise in great new directions. Yes, (in typical Star Wars fashion) there were a couple of awkward moments, but overall this new series BLOWS The Last Jedi out of the water and sets a new standard for what all future Star Wars movies and series should aspire to be. Also, If you saw the end credits artwork and thought "I need that," then search no more. Below is a link to where you can download them all: https://imgur.com/a/NCpEVv6   Image credit to Disney.
