EA BACK ON STEAM

Yep. You read that title correctly. With the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on November 15th, EA will begin to sell games on Steam again, which hasn't happened since 2013. This move will mean more and more EA titles appearing on Steam, Origin and Steam cross-platform play, the EA Access game service on Steam, and more.

I didn't hate Origin (after its rocky start), but I'm honestly happy to see EA come back Steam. Not only will this make consolidating my games on one launcher easier, but it also (hopefully) means some sweet Steam sale prices will be applied to these titles!

Here's the link to the Fallen Order pre-order page on Steam, if you needed a little "proof in the pudding": https://store.steampowered.com/app/1172380/STAR_WARS_Jedi_Fallen_Order/

POKEMON SWORD AND SHIELD REVIEW ROUNDUP

The reviews are in before Pokemon Sword and Shield hits stores this Friday. Overall, if you're a huge Pokemon fan, things are looking pretty good. Larger outlets are claiming that while this installment of the Pokemon franchise doesn't innovate as much as they hoped it would, it is still a lot of fun and vastly expands our options for future Pokemon titles. DISNEY+ IS LIVE

Edit: everything is working well now. Enjoy your Disney+ stream time! Although Disney+ has officially launched, good luck watching anything. It seems that Disney did not quite prepare for the influx of people that would be pounding their servers and things are off to a slow start. While you can sometimes view the main dashboard or add things to your watchlist, you might have to wait a few hours, or days, before everything starts running smoothly.
